Stories From 20 Years
We've been honored to produce a number of pieces for Bailey-Boushay House, here in Seattle. Bailey-Boushay was the first 24-hour nursing home built from the ground up to care for people living with AIDS. At the height of the AIDS crises, 1994-1995, Bailey-Boushay was losing a patient everyday. During the years that Bailey-Boushay was a primarily a hospice, it became known nationwide not just for it's level of service but also for the compassion and respect that it showed it's residents. This is part of a larger campaign we produced for Virginia Mason, called "Stories from 20 Years."

Bailey-Boushay House: A Living History (Excerpt)
Bailey-Boushay House broke ground during the height of fear and discrimination around the AIDS epidemic in the late 80's. The film follows the story of a grassroots effort to build the first facility of it's kind in the U.S. and vividly portrays both the immense compassion and enormous loss experienced in the early days of operation.
Commissioned by Virginia Mason Medical Center.Premiered at the Museum of History and Industry on December 1st (World AIDS Day) 2007.
